While QuickBooks Online (QBO) allows you to create a Project to document the total funding amount in the Notes section and enables you and your team to log hours worked on that specific project, @MCLS. Please note that it currently does not automatically link the funded amount to the total hours worked.
As a result, you'll want to manually track the total hours worked and calculate costs to compare these against your funded amount. Additionally, you can visit our market or go directly to the Apps section in QuickBooks to look for a third-party app that links the funded amount to the total hours worked. Here's how:
- Navigate to Apps menu in the left corner of your screen.
- Click Find apps.
- Enter a keyword in the Search bar or select Browse Categories.
We encourage you to share your feedback with our Product Development Team, as your insights about the linking funded amount to the total hours worked would be beneficial and can help influence our ongoing improvements.
To submit your suggestions, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Under the Profile column, choose Feedback.
- Enter your feedback suggestion.
- Click the Next button.
