Hello,
I was recently asked if I could pull up the Project Profitability Report but for every project under a certain customer. I thought this was easy; however, when I opened a project's profitability report and then switched the filter to include all projects under that specific customer, it just showed a 0 under hourly time costs. Why would it not just add up all the time cost.
If anyone could help me, that would be greatly appreciated.
Hi there, @William_Aultman. I'll be pleased to share some details about your concern, so you can get through this and add up all the time costs in your Project Profitability report in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
One possible reason why it shows zero is that your transactions have no amounts inside them. What you'll want to do is to verify if your transactions contain the correct numbers. You'll then make necessary changes if needed. That way, all the time costs will reflect in your Project Profitability report. To begin, here's how:
Once you've verified all the transactions, you'll want to run a Project Profitability report and input the correct date range to ensure your data shows the transactions in a specific period.
