QB Online --> Recurring Transactions --> Critical Issue with Auto-Created Invoices: "Service Date" is BLANK / NOT SHOWING on Invoices

Hello there, user74023.

It's possible that the service date option was turned off from the settings. Let's go check it out by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear > Account and Settings > Sales.
  2. Select the Sales form content, and check to see if the Service date has a check mark. Put a check again if there's none.
  3. Click Save and then Done.

If the option is enabled and still not showing on your recurring transactions, we can do some troubleshooting steps to rule out if it's a browser-related issue.

Let's start by opening your company in an incognito or private browser. You can use the shortcut key below:

  • Chrome: Press Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Internet Explorer or Firefox: Press Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Hold down Command+Shift+N

Then, check the Service Date on your recurring transactions. If it's available, you can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. Clearing the cache helps refresh your browser's settings.

I've got this article on how you can clear them in all supported platforms: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

Alternatively, you can use other supported browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox. Note: To preview and print forms on Mac OS, you'll also need the Firefox PDF plugin, Microsoft Edge and Safari 11 or newer (Mac only).

Please let me know how it goes. I'll be around to help you further. Thanks.
