QBO General Ledger not summing to Zero?

Hello,

Our Auditors asked for a General Ledger for the year, which I provided.  They are saying it's not correct because it's not summing to Zero.  They took out the beginning balances and the totals and subtotals.  They are asking me to submit something that sum's to Zero and I'm at a loss as to why it isn't.  Desperately needing help on this.  Thanks.

QBO General Ledger not summing to Zero?

Hello @rezaul,

We want to help you with your questions about General Ledger. However, we need more information about it to provide the correct resolution and to get this sorted out promptly.

The balances of the accounts will depend on the transactions entered into your register. Can you share with me what specific accounts you're referring to in the report? Any information you can add about sending something that sum's to Zero will help us provide a more detailed answer.

In the meantime, you can check the following article to learn how to run a General Ledger report that shows both Debits and Credits for each transaction: Create a report that shows Debits and Credits for each transaction.

Please know that you're always welcome to post any questions you have in this space. Have a great day ahead.
