Quick books checking fraudulent charges to debit card

Thank you for posting here in the Community, @don84.

I'll make sure to help you with your issue about unauthorized charges in your QuickBooks checking account to your debit card.

Let me share some information.

Charges happen in your debit card account because like other debit cards, your QuickBooks card operates similarly. Up to four free withdrawals from any AllPoint ATM are permitted each month. After that, each withdrawal costs $3.00.

If you need to dispute a transaction, call the number on the back of your QuickBooks debit card.

Additionally, I'd recommend visiting this article to learn about QuickBooks Checking.

If you want to protect your account from any security risk, you can read through this article: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.

Remember to reach us back or leave a reply if you need further assistance with your QuickBooks Online account charges. I'll help you anytime. Keep safe.

I appreciate you sharing this incident here in the Community, @dmkronk0713. This information will set as an early warning for other QuickBooks users.

To begin with, it's important to note that security and privacy are top priorities at Intuit. To verify the authenticity of an email, check if it comes from an address ending in @intuit.com or @e.intuit.com

If the email is indeed from us, you can look up the charge using our tool to get more details about it.  I also recommend reaching out to the support team to further investigate the unauthorized charges. Here's how:ow:

  1. Select Help at the top.
  2. Click the Search tab, then choose Contact Us.
  3. Select a topic or enter a brief description of your concern.
  4. Hit Continue, then select Start a chat and Get a callback.

If the email is not coming from us, you can contact our partners at Green Dot bank to investigate this further. Simply dial the number at the back of your debit card.

Furthermore, I would like to provide you with a useful resource for recording journal entries in QuickBooks Online. You might find it beneficial for future reference: Create journal entries in QuickBooks Online.
