Quick Books Mac 2019 How do I delete a memorized report

Deleting a memorized report in QuickBooks Mac is so easy and I'm here to guide you, bbbsg1.

I've checked your posts, and I'm unable to find any screenshots attached. As of now, you're only able to replace an existing memorized report with a new one using the Mac version.

Since the option to delete is unavailable, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to Reports, then select Report Center.
2. Choose Memorized Reports.
3. Open the report.
4. Make the necessary changes.
5. Click Memorize.
6. Enter the same save name to overwrite the data.

That answer seems to be what I see, but this is really unacceptable.  When do they plan to revise this so that they can be deleted like in the other versions of Quickbooks?

I understand the convenience it can bring being able to delete a memorized report in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. While we can't provide a specific date as to when will he feature be available, I want you to be updated with the new features added in the software by following the steps below:

Here's how:

1. Go to the Help icon.
2. Click New Features.
3. Choose either New Feature Tour or What's New.

The deleting memorized reports function is not working in my QuickBooks Premier Nonprofit Edition 2021.  How do I troubleshoot and correct this?

I understand I should be able to delete a memorized report by:

click on Reports

click on Memorized reports

Right -click on report I want to delete and then click on delete.

When I right-click on the report I do not get a message to delete. Also there is no x to the left to click on.

Before doing so, let's ensure that your QBDT program is updated to the latest release. This keeps your system up to date with components that fix common problems. Once verified, follow the below steps:

1. Go to the Reports menu at the top.
2. Select Memorized Reports, then click Memorized Report List.
3. Locate the report you'd want to delete.
4. Right-click the report and choose Delete Memorized Report (or press Ctrl + D on your keyboard).
5. Click OK when you receive a prompt asking if you want to delete the memorized report.

I am using desktop 2021 version. When I tried to delete the memorized report.

There is no what you said in 4 at all. There is no response when I right-click the selected report.

I searched the Help with the Quickbooks. The answer is almost the same as you said.

There is no drop-down arrow beside the selected report and there is no right-click allowed.

The steps shared above by MirriamM are for QuickBooks Desktop for Windows and that could be the reason you're unable to see the details for step four or there are no responses. That said, you can follow the instructions mentioned by my colleague AlcaeusF to delete memorized reports using QBDT for Mac.

If the issue persists, I recommend running the Verify and Rebuild Data Utilities to get fix the problem. The Verify Data utility identifies any potential data damage issues that might've caused some options to be missing for deleting memorized reports. While the Rebuild Data utility repairs damaged data in your company file. Before this, you'll have to secure a backup copy of your company file.

How to verify your company file data:

1. Select File and choose Utilities.
2. Click Verify Data and select OK to close all windows. 
3. If you see “Your data has failed the integrity check” you need to rebuild your file. If there are no problems with your data, you’re done.

How to rebuild your company file data:

1. Choose File and select Utilities.
2. Click Rebuild Data and select OK to close all windows.
3. QuickBooks will ask you to make a backup before rebuilding your company file. Then, select OK. 
4. If you don’t want to do a backup, choose Cancel to continue rebuilding your company file.
5. Once the rebuild's finished, click OK.
