Join nowi have spoken with QB numerous times about this issue and no one has been able to solve it. This happened on an old laptop QB 2021 and now my new computer w/QB 2022. When i export payroll information to excel it pulls up strange names of people that i have never heard of before. It will not generate any of the state tax reports, but once again all the strange names. Help Please.

The names are the default names that appear within the report template and should be replaced with your employees when you connect to QuickBooks and update the reports.
If you're not getting error messages as you connect to QuickBooks and pull data into Excel, and the names and other details appear to update on some reports but not others, then you may be seeing a longstanding issue Intuit has elected to not repair.
