Using QuickBooks Self-Employed app always allows you to enter expenses or income manually. Make sure to update the app to the latest version. If you haven't already, you can follow these steps:
If the same thing happens, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Once done uninstalling, download the app depending on the platform you're using.
