Adjusting columns in my customized Pro forma does not work.

From Estimates I created my own Pro Forma invoice. We would like to work with a Pro Forma without the Rate and Amount stated on there, also not the Subtotal. So nothing money related; it's about the quantity that will be ordered for the customer. The Rate and Amount Box are not checked but does appear on the Pro forma print out. Just as the Total amount.

Hello there, @Capriccio.

To resolve this, you’ll want to delete and recreate the Pro forma invoice template. Just make sure to apply the template to the Pro forma invoice you’ve created.

Here’s how to delete:

  1. Select the Gear icon.
  2. Click Custom Form Styles.
  3. Select the invoice template and hit the downward arrow right next to Edit.
  4. Choose Delete.

Once done, you can now recreate the Pro forma Invoice. I can show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Choose Custom Form Styles.
  3. At the upper right corner, click the drop-down for New Style, and select Estimate.
  4. On the Content tab, change Estimate to Pro forma Invoice.
  5. Select Done.

To look them more personalized, you can refer to this article as your reference: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Adjusting columns in my customized Pro forma does not work.

Hi there, a Proforma Invoice is a special document that is usually created when exporting products.  It will confirm the details of the products to be ordered, and request a split deposit/balance payment from the buyer.

The new QuickBooks + IncoDocs integration has been added to the app store.  QuickBooks users can connect to IncoDocs and instantly sync Invoices and Purchase Orders to IncoDocs templates, without re-typing any information.  IncoDocs allows exporters to easily create sales and shipping documents required for global trade, from Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists and other shipping documentation.
