Buy nowI am running QuickBooks Simple Start for my small service company. Quite some time ago my aging began miscalculating. I have tried verifying and rebuilding data and setting the default to Report Date. None of this restores proper aging reporting.
I know it's an old application... but does anyone know how this might be fixed?
Peter
Thanks for reaching out to the Community, pbmodys.
Since you've tried troubleshooting with your Verify and Rebuild utilities, but the aging report is still miscalculating, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
They can be reached while using QuickBooks.
Here's how:
Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.
Please don't hesitate to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a wonderful Tuesday!
You can contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA directly by email for assistance. They are very familiar with solving problems with older versions.
Thanks for the reply ZachE. I'm getting an error... Browser not Supported", Mozilla, when trying to contact support from within quickbooks. Is there another way to get the team you are recommending?
Peter
Thank you for following the steps mentioned by my colleague above, modys.
The error indicates that your browser is outdated or incompatible with your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) version. With this, you can review the system requirements to ensure it meets the minimum requirements to run QBDT. You can search for the System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop article and then just add the specific version you're using.
Also, we have a different way of contacting our live support outside of your QBDT application. However, please note they only assist supported versions of QBDT. Here's how you can reach them:
For unsupported versions (QBDT 2022 and earlier), consider purchasing QBDT Enterprise or switching to QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you choose QBDT Enterprise, back up your company file first and restore it in your new company file.
