Hello,

Is there a way to pull the report to only show what's overdue? It's currently pulling all balances, including invoices that are not due yet in the 1-30 column.

Hey there Rethink1,

It's great to see you back in the Community! Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Online is a great software to have. It can help keep your books balanced. I would be happy to provide some information.

QuickBooks offers various reports that lets you keep track of your finances. I recommend taking a look at the Collections report. This report shows overdue invoices. Here how you can locate this:

  1. Head to Business overview and select Reports
  2. From the Who owes you section, select Collections report. ( or type in collection reports in the search bar within the reports section.)
  3. Filter if needed, and select Run report

You can also view overdue invoices by heading to Get paid & Pay, Click on Invoices. Next, in the Status drop down, select Overdue. This will bring up only the over due invoices from your customers. I hope this helps!

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach back out to us here.

Hello,

Thank you for your response! Is there also a way to add notes from the customer page into the report?

Absolutely, we have the capability to accomplish that task using QuickBooks Online, @Rethink1. Furthermore, I would be more than happy to assist you in attaining your goal.

Here is the step-by-step process I've narrowed down for you with some screenshots for your visual reference:

  1. Go to the Sales menu then select Customers.
  2. Click on the customer's name to open their profile then select  Add notes.

  3. Scroll down to find the Notes and attachments section then enter the information you'd want to add.
  4. When done, hit Save.

Now to show this on the Reports page, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the Find report by name section, type Customer Contact List
  3. Click on the report to open then select Switch to classic view.
  4. Hit on the Gear icon then click on the Show more dropdown to see all the columns that can be shown on the report.

  5. Locate and put a checkmark on the Note box.
  6. When done, click anywhere to load the changes.

Moreover, if you wish to preserve the current customization of your report, allowing you to save time by avoiding the need to redo it every time you run the report again, please feel free to refer to this article: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.
