When creating a sales receipt in QuickBooks Online (QBO), the Product/Service option appears by default when selected, however, it's not showing up on your end. This is an unexpected behavior, and I suggest performing browser troubleshooting steps to determine if this is a cache-induced issue. First, let's try accessing your QBO account through your browser's incognito mode.

Next, you may clear your browser's cache if this solution works. If the issue persists, I suggest contacting our Support team. They have the required tools and can provide live support to help identify the cause of this issue.

Yes, be sure to blame the browser.
Changed browsers, cleared browsing history and called Intuit CS. They are "escalating my issue". But four days later still no fix or answers.

I want to make sure you're able to select the Product/Service option on Sales Receipts in QuickBooks Online.
As an initial troubleshooting step, were you able to clear the browser cache as mentioned above? Often times if the cache becomes too full it can cause certain viewing and performance errors within the system and clearing it will fix those issues.
If the problem with the Product/Service option persists I recommend reaching out to a member of the QuickBooks Online Support Team. An agent will be able to take a more in depth look to determine what's causing the option to not appear. Here's how to get in touch with the team:
1. Click the Help (?) button.
2. Select either tab to get started:
- Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
- Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
a. Start a chat with a support expert.
b. Get a callback from the next available expert.
