Attach to email checkbox is not visible on estimates and invoice in current version of Safari on MacOS as of May 12, 2022.

Hello there, @fbonomo. I have a solution to help you utilize and view the Attach to email checkbox on your invoices and estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO) using a Safari browser.

 

The Attach to email checkbox is still one of the available features in QBO when creating your invoices and estimates using any of the supported web browsers (i.e., Google Chrome and Safari).

 

This sales form or display error can sometimes be caused by the browser's collection of data over time from frequent page visits. To isolate this matter, you can perform some troubleshooting steps.

 

You can start by pulling up your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito). Press Control Option for Safari browser.

 

Once signed in, go to the + New button, create an invoice or estimate, and attach a document to select the Attach to email checkbox. Please see the attached screenshot below for your reference or check out this article for the complete details: Attachments in QuickBooks Online

If you're able to do so, return to your default (Safari) browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues. Here's how:

 

  1. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose History.
  2. Select Clear History, then click the pop-up menu.
  3. Choose how far back you want your browsing history cleared.

 

However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
