Auto Eamiling of reports

I'm trying to email my client a monthly report. There is no edit button in the action column so I can add a scheduled email. I can add it to the management reports. I can't even add it to a group and mail the entire group. How do I set it up so that I can have the report sent automatically every month.

Auto Eamiling of reports

Hi there, businesscycle. I'll be glad to provide information about sending reports automatically every month.

The option to set the schedule via email is unavailable if you're using this new layout. However, if you can switch back to the old layout, you'll have an option to set the schedule.

If you're using the new layout, the best option is to send the reports manually.

Here's how to email the reports:

  1. Go to Reports, then select Custom Reports.
  2. Choose the report you want to email.
  3. Click the More actions, then select Email report.
  4. Fill in the information, then tick Send email.

Some reports have an option to set an email schedule. You can check this article to learn how to set a schedule and email information for a memorized report.

You can't. Quickbooks decided you don't need to do that anymore with the new layout.

WTH WTH

Why would a "new updated" version eliminate the ability to schedule sending a report to someone???

ZERO Logic there SMH
