Average Ticket Size

Hi there,

I am trying to run reports for our average ticket size and maximum ticket size in Point of Sale. Does anyone know if those reports are available and how to access them?

Thank you!

Average Ticket Size

It’s actually a better way of analyzing business performance and sales activity, @blair11.

Thanks for sharing your concern with us. Let me share some information with you about accessing the average and maximum ticket size in QuickBooks Point of Sale.

As of the moment, Profit and Loss and Sales Detail reports are what we recommend to track sales since QuickBooks is unable to determine the average and maximum profitability at this time. It provides details of total sales over a specified period accurately. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Reports drop-down on the top of the screen.
  2. Select Sales.
  3. Click Detail.

You can also use the customize feature so you can focus on the information you need.

I’ll take note of this personally, then I’ll let the Management Team aware of this matter. This way, they could come up with the best course of action to improve QuickBooks.

You can visit our blog site, where all newly implemented features are posted. It helps you learn more and find out other functionalities that could save task time.

You might want to read this article in case there’s a discrepancy between Profit and Loss and Sales reporting. It contains instructions to locate the issue and how to handle them.
