Can you run a Budget Report displays all the Budgets by Class and provides a total? Can you run a similar report showing budget to actual?

Welcome to the Community, @vkerb20.

I'll show you how to run a Budget vs. Actual report by class in QuickBooks Desktop.

Here's how:

From the top menu, choose Reports.
Hover your mouse to Budgets & Forecast.
Select Budget vs. Actual report.
Choose the Fiscal year, then click Next.
Select a report layout and click Next.
Hit Finish.
Click the Customize Report button.
Go to the Filters and choose Class.
Hit OK.

I tried it and didn't work, is it even possible to run a P&L by class Budget vs Actual Budget?

This doesn't actually work on Budget vs actual because the Class option is not available. It only shows Accounts under the filter categories.
