Can a receipt be attached to a journal entry

I'd be glad to guide you to attach a receipt to your journal entry in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To ensure the security of your QBO account, these are the following file types that are supported for attachments: 

• PDF
• JPEG
• PNG
• DOC
• XLSX
• CSV
• TIFF
• GIF
• XML

To attach a receipt to your journal entry, here's how:

1. Open your Journal Entry transaction.
2. From the bottom left, select Attachments.
3. Browse and click the receipt that you want to attach.
4. Hit Open, then Save and close.

I saw another answer to this question on this forum below:

At this time, the option to attach an expense with receipt to an item in Journal Entry is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). It will cause a duplicate once they are both posted as debit in expense.
