You can send a link to your customers so your customers can pay you with PayPal, Venmo, credit card, or ACH bank transfer. You can set the amount in the invoice, but your customer cannot edit the amount.
One option is to search for third-party apps that can integrate with QBO and let you create a custom link for payment where customers can pay whatever amount they want. Just use relevant keywords in the Apps menu.
