Can I scan/upload bank statements and they will auto populate into my QuickBooks? I am unable to access an old account online.

Let me share some information about Online banking, rebecca-alpinecs.

Yes, we can upload bank statements to auto-populate into your account by connecting them to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). QuickBooks works with thousands of banks. If you can't find your bank or credit card, here are some tips for finding it. Here's how to connect your old bank account:

  1. Click the Profile ⚙ icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. In the search box, enter the name or URL of your bank. Then tap Continue. If you've already connected an account before, select Connect another.
  4. Enter the sign-in info you use for your bank's website.
  5. When you’re ready, press Connect securely.

We can also manually import your transactions using.CSV file. You can get this file from your bank's website. Let me show you how:

  1. Got to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Imports.
  3. Tap Import older transactions and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Tick Import.

For more details about this one, see the Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed article. Then, categorize and edit your transactions after. Feel free to visit our Banking page for more insights about managing your bank transactions.

Please go back to this post if you need a hand with creating bank rules or any QBSE related. I'm always here to help. Take care always.
