I have the same question, I use to be able to see the sent and customer viewed report at the bottom of the invoice. Now how can I tell if they received it and or viewed it?

Ok, but what happened to the history report at the bottom? It may say viewed in the invoice screen but now we have no precise information to 'prove' it was seen.

We are using a contractor edition and on our computer - how do WE see the invoice views/history? I can't find 'sales' you referenced and I can't find 'manage' that you referenced in our edition.

The steps provided above are only applicable if you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO) which has a different interface with QuickBooks Contractors Edition.
QuickBooks lets you track your invoice flow quickly. By just checking out the See History hyperlink of your actual invoice, you'll be able to see the invoice history itself. I've attached a sample screenshot for reference:
