I have the same issue.  Several other users have reported the same issue.  The only way to clear the reminders or advance the next due date is manually.  It's been reported as an issue multiple times but nothing has been fixed.

Oh I received the suggestion to change these to Scheduled.  Yes if you do that there is no reminder & the next due date automatically advances.  However, it also automatically enters the recurring transaction as saved.  That created a huge issue for me as I had to then look all of those up & edit them.

Welcome to the community, Claire.

When using bill reminders, they will automatically disappear from your list after you create them. Just make sure to save it.

If it keeps happening, we can open your account in an incognito mode to see if this has something to do with your browser. Whenever you visit a website, it saves some information from the web page in its cache and cookies. These files allow the websites you visit most often to load faster.

Here's how to access incognito mode in some of the most commonly used web browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If your bill reminder disappears by browsing privately, it's safe to say that it's being caused by the browser. It can be fixed by clearing your cache and cookies. In the event it continues occurring while using incognito, you'll initially have to try switching to another browsing application.

Here's a list of supported browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari 11 or newer

You can track your bills and record your payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
