Can you email an invoice to multiple email address’s?

Yes, we can send forms to multiple customer emails, teffslawnandsnow.

We'll just need to separate each emails with a comma. We'll also highlight the Customer email field if were unable to place a comma to separate them. You can refer to my screenshot below on how it looks like.

We can also us the Cc/Bcc option to send carbon copies. Just click the link below the Customer email field to use it.

Can you email an invoice to multiple email address’s?

I have customers who need their invoices sent to several people. There is not enough room in the field to save the email addresses for each in either the customer information or on the invoices. How do I send the same invoice email to more than will fit in the space QB provides?

Can you email an invoice to multiple email address’s?

Good morning, ohdivi.

Thanks for joining this thread. I'd be glad to provide some additional info regarding sending an invoice to multiple email addresses in QuickBooks Online.

The email address field allows for 100 characters for sending invoices to multiple invoices. However, if you need to send to more than the field allows, you may consider QuickBooks Online Advanced which offers a batch transaction feature.

Here's how to get this done if you have an Advanced version of QBO:

  1. Select + New.
  2. Select Batch transactions.
  3. Create the invoice you want to duplicate.
  4. Select any field on the invoice you want to send to multiple customers. Then select the Menu button (three vertical dots).
  5. Select Duplicate invoice for multiple customers.
  6. In the window, select the customers you want to send the invoice to.
  7. Select Next. Invoices for each customer appear as rows in the Multiple Invoices window. You can edit them individually if you need to.
  8. When you’re finished, select Save or Save and send.

The following linked article provides additional info on this process: Create and send multiple invoices in QuickBooks Online Advanced

That is overly complicated and does not help me at all. The easy solution is for QuickBooks to allow more characters in the email address field for a customer.

@ohdivi   We have had to download our invoice to our desktop, and use our regular business email, in cases like yours.  It's not ideal, but it's easier and quicker than the QB "fix".

Good Luck.

What I am having to do now is send the email from QB then forward from my email. Thanks.

The batch transactions and the method Just_me is using are two available options for sending one invoice to multiple customers, ohdivi.

If you'd like to see the ability to add more characters, I recommend submitting feedback for the Product Development Team to review. This can be done by clicking the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.

You can keep an eye out for product updates and feature releases like this on the Firm of the Future site.

You may also want to check for any of the third-party apps that can help with this as well. Those can be found here: QuickBooks Apps

I've already submitted feedback requesting it.

I will look into the 3rd party apps.
