I'm here to provide you with information on how to update the category of your transaction.
Follow these steps:
1. Go to Transaction and select Bank transaction menu.
2. Click on the Categorize tab.
3. Choose the transaction from the Added or Match column.
4. Change the category under the Account column.
5. Click on Save and close.
Once done, repeat the process from steps 3 to 5 for the remaining transactions that you need to update the category.

Unfortunately, these directions did not work.
The category does not change.
Sorry the account does not change when I click add.
There is a glitch in the system.
When I follow your directions and do NOT match, which we are required to do and have been doing for over five years, the system is undoing the category.
The matched transaction is categorized correctly, please advise.

So I spent an hour with the chat team member June, and was still not able to resolve.
I used this method as you instructed and now a new problem.
Once categorized, the item added goes to the correct category, yay, however, the pledge still remains showing in the wrong category and now looks like we have double the funds expected.

Regarding the pledge under wrong category, you can review the income account in the product/service item of that pledge transaction and make the necessary changes as needed.
Additionally, you can generate various reports to gain valuable insights into your purchases, sales, and inventory status.

There is a glitch or bug in the chart of accounts, we created a new account and reassigned everything and it's working now. We retired the account that was causing all the issues, had to re-reconcile for the year to fix everything. Found the work around ourselves.
