COA Numbers?

Turning off the account numbers on your clients's chart of account will not affect anything. They're just usually used to organize the accounts. You can quickly find accounts using the numbers assigned to them.

Here's how to turn it off:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Select Account and Settings.
3. Select the Advanced tab.
4. Select pencil icon in the Chart of accounts section.
5. Uncheck Enable account numbers.
6. Click Save, then Done.
