Collapse rows feature for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet after R9_50 Enterprise update

Is there anyone else having issues with the loss of formatting of their memorized reports after updating Enterprise desktop to R9_50? Our Balance Sheet and Profit &Loss reports now show fully expanded and then when you collapse rows, you end up with two rows and your net income (Row 1: Ordinary Income/Expense; Row 2: Other Income/Expense and Row 3: Net Income). I tried to collapse and expand the rows I wanted so I could memorize the P&L that way but when I go back to the memorized report, it opens in the 3 row only format, then I have to manually expand the rows again.

We've received similar reports about this issue and our investigation is ongoing. Our development team has confirmed that the feature is functioning as designed with a decision made to allow collapsing only to the top level.

 

Since the option to collapse the report is no longer available, I recommend submitting your feedback to our product engineers. Your insights are valuable in shaping future updates.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu and then select Send Feedback Online.
  2. Choose Product Suggestion.
  3. Add the type of feedback.
  4. Type in your feature suggestion.
  5. Once done, click Send Feedback.

The change only appears to be affected after the transition from R8 to R9. Is it possible to revert to R8 or just install R8 without QuickBooks requiring us to upgrade to R9. If so can you provide a direct link to download the install file for 2024 Enterprise R8?

We are having the same issue  Our Balance Sheet and Profit &Loss reports now show fully expanded and then when you collapse rows, you end up with two rows.
