company vehicles

I am a partner in an LLC.  The company purchased a vehicle for my use on 11.29.2018.  I have been paying for fuel out of my personal account and submitting mileage at Fed rate of $0.58/mile.  I just realized that since the company is paying for the vehicle, the insurance, and the maintenance, that I probably should not have handled fuel and mileage in this manner.  I think I should have had the company pay for fuel.  Is this correct?
Thank you,
Todd

you submit the receipts for the fuel you paid for, the company writes you a check

yep... unfortunately I didn't keep receipts...  I have been expensing mileage.  I'll be keeping receipts and paying with company card moving forward, but I am sure I just created an accounting issue for us...
