Buy nowWe recently upgraded to QB Enterprise. I have been unsuccessful in running a consolidated report between multiple company files. Each time I add the company files and hit Combine Reports in Excel. QB has me log into my company files and then tells me to download the latest File Doctor. I have done that and run it on all of my company files and it never finds anything wrong with the company files. I have spent over 3 1/2 hours on the phone with Intuit support and no one has been able to help me. Yesterday I successfully ran a P&L for July but when I went to run a balance sheet immediately after creating the consolidated P&L I got the file doctor message (which makes absolutely no sense since I had just run a consolidated report on the exact same company files). Anyone have any insight?
Open the sample company file and save it with two different names. Can you consolidate them?
This isn't the experience we want you to have. Getting this fixed is our top priority, and rest assured this will be taken care of, @Lec25.
I understand you've already contacted our support to resolve your concern, but I recommend contacting them again. You can request a screen-sharing session to have them investigate this matter and find a possible fix so you can run a consolidated report seamlessly in QuickBooks Desktop.
Here's how you can reach out to them:

@Carneil_C , I have spoken with two different Quickbooks "experts" and screen-shared with both of them. Neither was able to help me. I just ran File Doctor on my 4 company files and there were no issues found with any of them. Then I tried to create a consolidated report. I got a message to download the latest File Doctor. I am tired of going around in circles. I believe there is a problem with the QB files but File Doctor is not finding it. I would like to send my files to someone at Intuit to see if you can fix my files and send them back to me. What is the best way for me to do this? If we can't get this to work then there is no point in us paying for Enterprise.
Have you tried my suggestion to isolate the problem?
Yes, I was able to consolidate two sample files so it seems that there is an issue with my files that file doctor is not finding.
Chat Support and ask them to check and fix your files (if required). Otherwise, you can ask a 3rd party service to check your files.
