Customizing invoice templates in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is achievable using a third-party application. You can always add the invoice logo on the work info page. Here's how:

Thanks @CharleneMaeF for the reply.
Yes I have customized my invoice and it is absolutely terrible looking and I would never send to a customer. So as of now so I can track invoice by creating a new one simply for QBSE and then fill out my very professional looking one my customers have become accustomed to receiving. I then manually marked paid when appropriate to do so. Only reason I use this version is for the quarterly tax estimates and payments I can easily do.
This version is very lacking in functionality and customization...Not that this is the thread to vent so I digress.
Thanks again.
@CharleneMaeF thank you for the reply. NO third party apps only import data they do not allow for customization as I need.I need the invoice to look EXACTLY like my Excel invoice. This is not achievable and I will not use invoicing in QBSE for this reason. A nice feature to be added here would be creating an invoice in QBSE and link to Excel invoice (or other external invoice). For now I will just send as I have always done and create a "fake" one in QBSE and never send and marked paid when appropriate to do so.
