Deleted Accounts

Good evening, I'm using QB online and was wondering whether there is away to only see the "deleted" accounts in the CoA. I know I can see all the accounts using the gear icon and selecting the "deleted accounts", but was looking to see if I could see only these and not the active ones.

Deleted Accounts

I know a way on how to see the deleted accounts only in QuickBooks Online (QBO), EDMDS.

 

We can filter the Chart of Accounts list to Include inactive and enter the word "Deleted" in the Filter field. From there, we'll only see the inactive accounts. Here's how:

  1. Go to Accounting on the left side menu.
  2. Choose Chart of Accounts.
  3. Click the Gear icon.
  4. Select Include inactive under Other.
  5. In the Filter by name or number field, type Deleted.

 

To learn more about deleting an account, see the Delete an account on your chart of accounts in the QuickBooks Online article. Just in case you'll need to activate an account, just follow the steps below: 

  1. Go to Accounting on the left side menu.
  2. Select Chart of accounts.
  3. Tap the Gear icon above the Action column. Then choose Include inactive.
  4. Find the account you want to use again and press Make active.
