Did QBO Project Tab updated the Payroll Expenditure in the report? Usually, I would see all the payroll expenditures that we have for a specific project but cannot find them now. It only shows the Expenditure: Hourly Cost. Please help!

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to fix the issue, Sibyl.

There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources that may cause some unusual responses. You'll want to log into your QuickBooks Online account in a private window (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once signed in, you can check if you're able to see the payroll expenditure report. If so, return to your default browser and clear the cache to speed up the loading process. Every so often the cache becomes overwhelmed with older data which can potentially cause viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

Additionally, you may want to view information that displays the information you need. You can run reports and customize them to view specific data. Learn from this article for your guide: Customize Reports In QuickBooks Online.

Thank you but it did not help. I am still seeing the Hours in the Project Tab of our specific project.

No "Payroll Expenditures" are showing. Kindly refer to the picture that I have initially attached.

Thanks for keeping us updated, salvy13.

I've tried this on my test file and was able to see Payroll Expenses in the Project Profitability report. Here's a sample screenshot for a visual reference:
