HELP. This makes no sense to me. He wants me to go in and then split the transaction. I would set up the debit card under the bank acct showing the transaction and expense. PLEASE HELP
I am not sure who he is, but a debit card transaction is just an electronic check, it gets entered with the check number changed to DBT or EFT and you select the expense or asset account it paid for.
sorry, took so long to reply!! we have several debit cards on one account. Given to various people. They want to be able to see what each card is spending. At this point I've set up sub accounts under the main bank account.
