I rebooted my computer and it resolved the issue.
I finally figured this out, after months of frustration!!
I removed Chrome extensions one by one, and now I can open invoices! I'm 100% sure which extension it was, but suggest you try removing them one-by-one.
Still so frustrated with Quickbooks support for not at least trying to help me with my Chrome settings, and just expecting me to try a different browser. It's not like Chrome isn't a popular browser!
