Does anyone know when/if QB is going to create a payment link option that applies the single payment to all outstanding invoices? It's a PITA to work around this.

I have clients who owe for multiple invoices. They request a payment link to pay all at once, or several at once. Since the Payment Links create their own Sales Receipt, it requires me to then create a credit memo against those invoices (because I don't want to delete them and the info in them for reporting purposes). This shouldn't be so hard to do. The current payment links are useless to me.

I see how beneficial a single payment link for multiple invoices would be for you and other customers, Tami. I’ll ensure your insights are forwarded to our dedicated product development team as they evaluate potential enhancements moving forward.

While QuickBooks Online (QBO) currently doesn't support this functionality, I encourage you to communicate your thoughts directly with our product development team. They genuinely value customer input and are eager to hear your suggestions.

To proceed, here's how:

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon located at the top-right corner of your screen.
  3. Under the Profile section, select Feedback.
  4. Type in your suggestions and then click on Next.

In the meantime, you may want to explore third-party applications that integrate QBO to allow this flexible payment option, including batch payment links that can cover multiple invoices. You can find available options by visiting the QuickBooks App Store and navigating to the CATEGORIES section to select an app that best suits your needs.
