Does quick Books Online allow for reporting with taxes broken down?

I use desktop right now and have been told I cannot do a report that shows the two taxes that exist. Instead it groups them into just one total. This makes no sense to me since the fields exist and therefore should be accessible for a report. I was wondering if the online version would address this problem and allow one to do a report where the two taxes that I use for purchases as well for sales can be tabulated as separate line items in a report. Please confirm. Thanks in advance.

The sales tax report breaks down the taxes by Agency and then by tax item.  What more detail are you looking for?

Well. My immediate example:

I have purchases I have made and need to know the total for one of the two taxes. But like I mentioned before any report I can find only shows the total for the two taxes not the total for each individual taxes.

How can I see my credit card purchases with the two taxes broken out?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello @Stare,

As of the moment, there isn't an integrated way to customize a report to see your taxes in each line item. You may need to open the said transaction in the report to view the taxes calculated.

Additionally, I've got you this helpful article for guidance in preparation for the 2020 tax season: QuickBooks Desktop Year-end Checklist.
