I am using QB DESKTOP for a MAC 2019
I am trying to edit a couple of accounts in the chart of accounts. One of them is 401(K) Payable. By mistake I coded it as accounts payable. It should be a liability? When I go to chart of accounts>401(K) Payable>edit-upon saying- I get an error message saying that "you cannot change an account type to or from an A/R or A/P".
In QB you cannot make an honest mistake? There are no entries as of yet. Why can't I make the change?
