Welcome to the Community forum, @ukgeltd.
I understand that each company has unique needs, and it's always handy to be able to run a report according to their currency. I can also see how pulling up a report for daily balances on a specific date would help you track them easily.
At this time, QuickBooks Online can only run reports using the home-currency. Thus, I encourage you to submit feedback to our Product Development Team. They will evaluate these and pick some of them to include in future updates.
Here’s how:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Under the Profile column, select Feedback.
- Enter your suggestion, then click Next.
You'll want to track your suggestion through this website. You can also visit our blog to keep up with all of our recent events and developments.
As a workaround, we can customize and filter the Balance Sheet Detail report to get the data you need. I’ll show you how:
- On the left pane, go to the Reports menu.
- Search for Balance Sheet Detail report.
- In the Report period drop-down, select the specific date you want to show on the report.
- Click the Customize button.
- Go to the Rows/Columns section and click Change columns.
- Put a checkmark to the Currency and Foreign Amount checkboxes.
- Hit Run report.
Once done, you'll be able to see accounts with different currencies on the report.
See this article to learn more about personalizing reports: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online. It includes managing and sharing custom reports over email.
You'll also want to memorize this report if you want to run the same settings in the future. Check this article for a guide: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.
