is there a way to run a report showing estimates and totaling all the amounts at the bottom?

Estimates

I'm here to provide a report that shows the total amount of estimates, summer1998.

 

The Estimates and Progress Invoicing Summary by Customer report will show the pending and invoiced estimates including the total amount of estimate for each customer. You'll want to run the report by following the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu on the left pane.
  2. Enter Estimates and Progress Invoicing Summary by Customer in the search box.
  3. In the Report period section, choose the date of the report you want to run.

 

I've also added this screenshot for your visual guide:

 

 

The total amount highlighted in yellow is the total amount of estimates of your customers. 

 

Furthermore, you'll also have the option of filtering the columns that you want to show by clicking the Customize button. You can learn more from this article: Customize Reports In QuickBooks Online.
