Get 50% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months*
Buy nowI need to export an Excel file in the format required by the Tax Administration, which must then be uploaded to their system every month.
The format in Excel must contain the columns with the data specified in the rows as in the attachment.
Can this standardized form be extracted from Quickbooks Enterprise or must a third-party app be engaged?
Hey there, Kujtim.
I see how essential it is to acquire the necessary reports to fulfill your tax-specific needs within QuickBooks Desktop.
In QuickBooks Desktop, you can export the data from your report to Excel and manually rearrange the columns to match the format that you need. It also offers a feature that lets you customize reports to a great extent. You can modify the columns, filters, and sorting to match the format specified by the Tax Administration.
For your convenience, I've provided these articles that offer more insight into the export process and the customization of reports:
Furthermore, if those two options within QuickBooks Desktop are not enough to meet the Tax Administration's requirements, you can consider using a third-party app or software that specializes in tax reporting or data formatting. There are various applications that integrate with QuickBooks to provide more advanced reporting and exporting capabilities.
Moreover, I recommend reaching out to the Tax Administration directly to know if they have any recommendations or guidelines for exporting data from accounting software like QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. They might be able to provide you with more information on the accepted formats and any specific software they recommend.
I'll be checking this Community thread for any follow-up questions or concerns about reports. Have a good one!
Dear Archie,
Thanks for your reply,
I am aware that in QuickBooks Desktop, you can export the data from your report to Excel and manually, modify, rearrange and customize them the columns to match the Template format requested from Tax admin. but unfortunately it is to much time consuming, also the articles provided from you have not the solution I need.
Although we have some companies using QuickBooks in Kosovo (Southeastern Europe) where I am located the Tax Admin does not provide guidelines for exporting data from accounting software's but just request to upload the data in the format given by them.
The option It remains is the possibility of a third party app.
Kindly
