Finding "Gross Fees" calculation in QBO

Hi QB Community--i am helping my husband fill out his annual professional liability docs and one box is asking for "Financial Information; provide your firm's gross fees attributable to the following years. Gross fees mean the exact dollar amount of your firm's gross revenue.

Which report on QBO to calculate this number? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Finding "Gross Fees" calculation in QBO

Hi there, @Maria Newsom.

In QuickBooks, there isn't a specific report that'll show the gross revenue. Although, we can pull up reports such as Profit and loss or Sales by Product/Service Summary reports to view your total income or gross profit.

Here's how to pull up reports:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Type in Sales by Product or Profit and loss in the search box, then click the report.
  3. Set the Report period.
  4. Select Run report.

I can see how this report would be helpful for you in viewing your gross revenue. Thus, let me take more of this as a suggestion to improve your QuickBooks experience.

You can also send feedback to our developers so they can review it. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Click the Help menu and select Send Feedback Online.
  2. Choose Product Suggestion, then enter the details of your concern.
  3. Select Send Feedback and click Close Window.

Also, you can customize any reports to focus on the details that really matter. After that, You can memorize them to save their current customization settings. For the detailed steps, kindly visit this article: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.
