Has anyone seen an example of what QuickBooks will be sending out for the new "Post Invoice Survey" announced today? It seems odd that the email they sent me didn't say.

I received an email today from QBO telling me this "survey" is going to start being sent AUTOMATICALLY to my customers whenever they pay an invoice (unless I go in and toggle it off).  But, there is zero explanation as to what they are sending out nor is there any obvious way to edit the wording in the settings.  I just shut it off for now because anything they send out is a reflection on my company (not theirs) and, well, I don't trust them to even spellcheck based on that last big update that STILL has bugs that shock have been obvious to even a cursory software test review...  I don't see this company as being "careful" with what gets pushed out by them, so I don't want them pushing things out to my customers!  Yikes!

I'm here to explain further the new Post-Invoice Survey feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Mikes.

Yes, QuickBooks gradually launched a new survey widget capability for our US and CAN customers.

When your customers pay your invoice, a post-invoice survey will be sent. This will ask if they would like to work with your Small Business again.

This feature will roll out to 10% of QBO users and allow you to monitor customer feedback. As a result, you'll be able to gauge if or when there’s a chance that the customer will want to work with you again.

Moreover, you can personalize your sales forms with the new version of invoicing and estimates in QBO. If you need a guide on how to do this, you can check out this article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to get back if you have additional questions about features and managing invoices in QBO. We'll be here to help. Keep safe, and have a good one.

Do you know how much this feature will cost after the free introductory period if we choose to keep it on?

Just FYI, I saw a post  yesterday that was talking about this survey.  It asks a LOT more personal questions that if they would work with your company again.

If I find it, I'll add the ink here.

I acknowledge your concern about how much it will cost after the free introductory in QuickBooks Online, and you’re through to the right person to get this sorted for you today, @cassie3980.

Upon receipt of payment for your invoice, a post-invoice survey will be dispatched to your customers. This survey will inquire whether they would be interested in collaborating with your Small Business in the future.

As a valued customer, you are invited to experience this new feature at no cost for a minimum duration of three months. We will inform you ahead of time should there be any fees associated with its continued use. You have the option to disable this feature at any moment within the Sales section of your Account and Settings.

Here's how to turn this feature off:

  1. The Gear icon is in the upper right corner of QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Account and Settings under Your Company.
  3. Pick the Sales Tab, and go to Post-Invoice Survey.
  4. Toggle the survey in the Off position.
  5. Click Save.

If you require more details about this feature, you can always connect with our QBO Support for further verification about this.

Additionally, you may find it beneficial to explore this article to gain further insights into QuickBooks, including its features and processes: Get started and adjust settings after you sign up for QuickBooks Online.

I kindly request that you leave a comment below, should you have any additional questions regarding the Post Invoice Survey or any other issues related to your QuickBooks Online account.

Here is the link to the other thread I mentioned earlier.

Even in this other thread, they (QB) fail to tell you about how they ask for the persons (your customer) name and phone number.  But they don't tell you what they need that info for, either. It's all pretty shady, if you ask me.
