Hi there, curtis8.
Thanks for turning to the Community for support. I'm happy to provide some info about the details included when paying bills in QuickBooks Online.
Just to make sure I'm on the same page, are you referring to the requirement for the vendors email when paying a bill in your account? If so, there isn't currently a way to remove this field as it is used as a way to contact the vendor. The is particularly necessary if you're using the QB Bill Pay feature and the vendor would be notified via email that you paid the bill from them.
I'm linking a couple of articles that I believe you'll find helpful in this situation:
Please don't hesitate to drop a comment below if you have any other questions or concerns. I'll be here to help in any way that I can.
Why do you prefer not to use the email requirement?
Is someone working on this? It's a burden. Might have to cancel.
As a contractor, some of my vendors don't have a computer or email.
Another option, you can signup for a free Melio account to integrate with QBO and pay your vendors/contractors. The email address requirement is optional or you can use your own email to receive the notification on behalf of your vendors/contractors. Then you can save the notification email as PDF and send it to their mobile phone if required.

Because not all payees have email addresses!...utilities, banks, insurance companies, just to name a few. This should absolutely be an option, not a requirement. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will continue to use melio until this is resolved.
