Is the bank statement file in .qbo, .csv, or another format?
Thanks for posting into the Community, @BritoPlumbingandMechanical. I can help you import the bank transactions that went missing.
Usually, QuickBooks Online (QBO) automatically downloads transactions up to a specific date. If you want to enter older transactions, you can still upload them manually.
To avoid entering duplicates, you need to know the date of the oldest existing transaction you can find in the bank account register.
Here's how:
Once you get the oldest transaction, it's time to get entries from your bank dated November 2019 to January 2021.
Then you can follow Step 3: Review the file format and size and the rest of the details through this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. Also, make sure that you mapped out each column accordingly when importing the transactions. This may be in a different region, but here are additional insight about importing prior transactions from a bank that I've shared with one of our Community members: Upload CSV file bank transactions.
Once you've successfully imported banking entries, you're now ready to categorize and reconcile your bank.
Is it your first time connecting your online bank accounts? Here's what you can do if you can't find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.
If you have additional questions in mind about importing bank transactions to QBO, feel free to post them below. Anytime I can help you here. Stay safe, and have a nice day ahead!
