How can I remove Custom field? I don't see an option to delete it in manage custom fields

We're glad you've reached out to the Community forum, jokicka95. I've come to share insights when managing custom fields in QuickBooks Online.

Currently, the option to delete custom fields in your account is unavailable. We can only make them inactive if you no longer need them for your transactions. When you deactivate a custom field, it won't be visible on new sales forms and purchase orders. However, it will still be present on the ones you've used it on, and your historical data associated with it will remain unaffected.

Thus, let me guide you on how you can make them inactive:

  1. Go to Settings and select Custom Fields from the Lists column.
  2. From the Custom Fields center, locate the field you want to deactivate.
  3. Click on the Edit dropdown arrow and select Make inactive.

Furthermore, if you want to add specific information to your sales forms, you can customize them to create professional-looking forms when sending entries to your customers.

We'll be available in this thread anytime you need further help when managing custom fields and transactions in your account. Just let us know in the comments below. Keep safe and have a good one!
