How can I transfer a product from an invoice to another department or store location? (e.g. Purchasing in one location for multiple facilities)

Thanks for dropping by the Community. I can show you how to transfer a product from an invoice to another department or location in QuickBooks Online.

You can change the location of the product in an invoice by following the steps below:
1.    Locate the invoice.
2.    Click the invoice to open it.
3.    In the Location drop-down, select the department where you want the product to be.
4.    Hit Save and close.

Please take note that moving the product on the invoice will affect the entire transaction. Unlike using the class tracking feature, you’ll have the option to allocate a class on each line item.
