How do I close out an escrow account

We're unable to close out an escrow account, DecaturInvestor.

However, you can inactivate this account if you no longer use it. Doing this will hide the account from Chart of Accounts and other tabs where you can choose accounts.

The transactions under this account will be kept on reports and tax forms.

Here's how to make the account inactive:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Select Chart of Accounts.
3. Locate the escrow account.
4. Click the drop-down button in the ACTION column.
5. Select Make inactive.
