How do I delete a customer/client in quick books self employed?

I don't see the option anywhere and no I don't want to delete an invoice, just a client. I simply spelled their name wrong and now I want to delete it but there's no option for it anywhere that I can find.

How do I delete a customer/client in quick books self employed?

A customer/client is directly linked to your invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). The option to delete one isn't available. However, you can utilize the Edit customer info feature to correct the customer's name on the said sales form. I'll show you how to do this below.

 

  1. Go to the Invoices menu.
  2. Find the invoice you want to correct and select Edit under the Action column.
  3. Select the Edit customer info link. Then, change the name.
  4. Click Save80.PNG
  5. In the Subscribe to send dropdown, select Save.

Additionally, you can set up online payments so your customers can pay you for their invoices electronically. To activate QuickBooks Payments, select the Set up payments option while creating an invoice in QBSE.
