We’ll have to open the account and edit the opening balance from there. Then, delete the initial transactions recorded one at a time. I’ll be your guide today on how to perform these steps.
To change the opening balance:
- Go to the Accounting menu on the left panel to choose Chart of Accounts.
- From the list, find the account and go to the Action column to select View register.
- Look for the opening balance.
- Once found, click the amount to expand the line.
- Press the Edit button to update the amount.
- Click Save to keep the changes.

To delete the entries:
- Open the bank account you’re working on.
- From there, tap the transaction to expand the line.
- Hit the Delete button and then choose Yes to confirm the deletion.
- Continue performing the same process to remove the remaining transactions.
