Our accountant has brought to our attention the fact that the 2018 tax year has had changes made to it during the 2019 tax year even though that year was filed. How do I go back and find all the changes that were made. I do not have the "Closing Date Exception" report as I'm using desktop pro. The company has not reconciled any accounts since 2013 so I cannot use the rec reports.
You can run the Audit Trail report, AllHaul.
The Audit Trail report shows all the transactions done by other users.

Thank-you for your reply. The company hasn't done any reconciliations since 2013. I'm new to the company and am trying to get it cleaned up enough to move to the online version but don't think the recs will be done for previous years. Is there another option to find these transactions?

In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) filed forms will be saved on your Archived Forms. You can generate a Tax form dates 2018 so you can compare the 2018 Archived form with the newly generated 2018 Tax forms.
