I understand how the option you're looking for is beneficial to your business, @david-shields.

QuickBooks are continuously improving the product's features to meet our customer's needs. However, getting rid of the Get Things Done tab is unavailable. These new improvements allow you to create your transactions quickly from the Dashboard. It also includes easy access to your Audit log. just click the See all activity in the bottom part.

In the meantime, I suggest checking back to our websites for any enhancements and announcements through these links:

Also, I'm adding this article to further guide you in managing your employee transactions and business expenses in QBO: QuickBooks Help ArticlesThen, click + More Topics to view related articles about managing your sales, expenses, inventory, taxes, and running reports.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help. Take care always.

Joesem M,

Thank you for your response. In the future I suggest that revisions to the software be added in such a way that the clients, who by the way pay a monthly fee for this service, are able, using the settings feature,  to turn on or turn off these features. Please recognize that not all clients use this system the same, and so making changes can have detrimental effects on certain work streams.

Sincerely,

 David

Is there an answer to this question because this tab is very annoying. The last thing i want to do is click again 10k times in my lifetime because the programmers cant turn it off.

Thanks for becoming part of the Community, Eddie Sparks.

I can certainly understand how an ability to turn off your Get Things Done option could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Gear (⚙️) icon, then go to Feedback.
  2. Enter your suggestion(s) in the Have feedback? window.
  3. If necessary, attach a file with your Camera (📸) icon.
  4. Select Next.

Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.

You also have the option of checking our QuickBooks App Store for apps which may be able to help you accomplish what you're looking to do.

If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have an awesome day!

Thank you. I just feel that this was addressed in 2021. Every single employee that read this thread should be fired. Every single one of them. I would fire the marketing department. I would consider taking them to court. Because since this day in 2021, THEY LAZILY & METHODICALLY HAVE PROVEN THAT THEIR JOBS ARE PLAY GAMES ON THEIR PHONES instead of address the needs of corporate executives.
