Hi,
I have a parent customer with a billing address, and a sub-customer, which is basically a person, with phone and email but no billing address. I want to invoice the sub-customer and have the billing address of the parent automatically be used in the invoice.
It really seems to me (at least) that it should work this way. Can QBO do this, and if so, how?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Invoicing the sub-customer with parent's billing address is our top priority, ysageev.
For now, you'll have to manually edit the billing address when creating an invoice to your sub-customer.
You'll want to check out our Customer Feedback page if a request has already been submitted. If not, you can send one to let our product team know how useful is this for your business. Additionally, here's how you can record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I've added this article for your guide: Record Invoice Payments In QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to let us know if you have any concerns about invoicing a sub-customer. The Community is here to help you 24/7.

OK thanks, Maria.
Agreed, this is basic and should be auto-populated, otherwise very time consuming to set up each sub record.
